July 2025 Newsletter
As the summer sun reaches its peak, July brings with it not only warmth and light but also a renewed sense of gratitude for the ways God continues to move among us. We’ll celebrate Independence Day and are reminded that true freedom comes not only through the liberties of our nation, but through the grace of God. Whether we are traveling, gathering with loved ones, or simply enjoying the slower rhythm of the season, it’s a time to pause and recognize the blessings around us. Here at St. Matthias, we give thanks for the Spirit’s quiet yet steady presence, guiding our ministries and deepening our sense of community.
Summer is a beautiful time to slow down, reconnect, and savor God’s blessings: sunshine, Sabbath, and community. This month also invites us to reflect on the beauty of shared life together. As we celebrate milestones, support one another through challenges, and prepare for the new opportunities that lie ahead, we are reminded that the Church is not just a building, it’s the people. From Sunday worship to weekday outreach, our parish continues to be a place where Christ’s love is known, shared, and lived. Please know that your St. Matthias church home is here for you, praying with you, and planning for a Spirit-filled season ahead. We hope you’ll find encouragement and inspiration in the updates and events in this month’s newsletter.
